The 15-year-old central defender earns deserved recognition after a breakthrough year.
Oliver Wilkinson is named the 23/24 Academy Player of the Season in association with NG Decor.
The teenager becomes the latest youngster to pick up the prestigious accolade, with former winners including Aiden Marsh, Fabio Jalo and Jonathan Bland.
Wilkinson has featured predominantly for our U18s side this campaign, playing up three age groups such is the belief in the young defender's ability from Academy Manager, Bobby Hassell and coaching staff.
His performances have been recognised by the England youth setup this season, attending two elite camps and has been selected to represent the Young Lions U15s in a tournament in Croatia this summer.
"It's an amazing feeling," beamed the 15-year-old when given the news last week. "I only got told last night when I got back from school and it's not really sunk in yet. Just an amazing, amazing feeling."
