Barnsley FC and Barnsley FC Community Trust is calling on all supporters to "Bring a Pound to the Ground" at this weekend's fixture against Northampton Town. The aim of the initiative is to raise vital funds for the Trust's ongoing work in the local community.
As the charitable arm of Barnsley FC, the Community Trust is committed to making a positive impact across the Barnsley Borough. The Trust delivers a wide range of programmes and activities designed to support local residents. With a reach that engages between 10,000 and 15,000 people each season, the Trust works with individuals from 2 to 100 years old.
The funds raised through this "Bring a Pound to the Ground" initiative will support the Trust's efforts across a variety of key areas, including Health and Wellbeing, Education and Employability, Inclusion and Participation, and much more.
This weekend's fixture presents a fantastic opportunity for supporters to contribute to the Trust's mission of: Using the Power of Barnsley Football Club to Inspire, Improve and Positively Change Lives in our Community. By donating just one pound, attendees can play a part in sustaining and expanding the important work being done by the Barnsley FC Community Trust.

During the fixture, the Community Trust will be delivering a host of activities stationed at the Ozone, as well as hosting their Matchday Experience and home debut programme to ensure there is an action packed offer for supporters pregame.
Donations can be made at the Ozone prior to kick off where Barnsley FC Community Staff will be present to thank you for your donation and educate you on the work they provide across the local community. Additionally, staff will also be walking around the ground with collection buckets, so please keep an eye out for them!
